Luba's Biography
Luba's biography is directly related to the revival of Jewish identity among the Jews of the Soviet Union.
A star is born
1976 - 1980
Luba was born on January 19, 1949. Four years after the end of World War II and four years before Stalin's death. Such a bright soul, having descended from the higher spheres, could not but try to make changes in the lower world. And probably, in one of the distant constellations, a new star lit up.
School, first classes
1955-1962
In the photographs - a girl in a white apron and with a huge white bow. Always cheerful. She did not suffer from anti-Semitism, although she perceived some strangeness in relation to herself. Somewhere in her soul lived the feeling that she was not like everyone else. But the most offensive was that this feeling was in the family.
Sixth grade. Taganka
1962 - 1969
Even as a child, Lyuba read wonderful books for children and youth from cover to cover. They taught honesty and nobility, helping comrades, although the surrounding reality was not like that. But some people believed what was in the books and had little knowledge of real life.
In the sixth - eighth grades, Luba's teacher was Lubov Borisovna.
When Lubov Borisovna got a job at the Taganka Theater, she accompanied Luba and her friends from the back door to dress rehearsals and performances.
Institute
1969-1973
Love for literature and theater determined for Lyuba her future profession - she entered the pedagogical faculty of the Russian language and literature. Books made a deep impression on her, cut into her soul, let everything pass through herself . Luba traveled far with her friends, to see artworks of Rublev and Pheophan Greck. The weather was cold, it was necessary to spend the night in some village, in a hut. But the craving for beauty overcame difficulties.
Work and love
1973-1976
Once, when Luba returned home, the children of her class were playing in the yard. One of the boys shouted to his comrades: "What are you talking about - it's Lubov Mikhailovna coming." And it sounded like: behave yourself - because the goddess passes.
I met Lyuba in 1974. I saw a bright Jewish face in the subway and approached her.
