our story
Our family history is directly connected with the chronology of the struggle of the Jews of the Soviet Union for their Jewishness and for the right to immigrate to Israel.

The wedding was celebrated in the apartment of Nina Zakharovna. When we arrived from the registry office, I carried Lyuba to the fifth floor in my arms.
A year later, our daughter was born. I was in a state of constant search, of course, shared with Luba.
We quickly started to keep the Sabbath. "Kabalat Shabat", prayer - everything is in the kitchen. "Lecha dodi" with the family - how wonderful.
Refusal
1979-1984
Faith and love for the Torah from the very beginning were inseparable for us from love for the land of Israel and for the country in which your people live, which you can be proud of. And then an obstacle arose, which we stumbled upon not entirely unexpectedly - we assumed that it might arise.
The fight to get out
1984 - 1989
As soon as the Jews, until that moment considered lost forever, suddenly raised their voice and ceased to be "Jews of silence", the Jewish world of the USA and Europe woke up. Protest demonstrations began and political activity increased. "Let my people go" - was the most popular slogan of the entire Jewish world.

The transfer was in Romania. Night. Yonik escaped. We were very worried, we were looking for him. Found it on the second floor in the store. Boarded the El Al plane. Hebrew was spoken on the plane. Something fundamentally changed in life. We arrived at night. Luba was struck by the stars and palm trees at Ben Gurion Airport.
At home
1995-2021
On the last day of my work, wealthy people offered to write a commentary on the books of the prophets in Russian. Even during my work in Kyiv, we compiled and published a commentary on the book of Zkharya. I assured that it was impossible, but then I gave up.We returned to Israel and began to work.
